July 25, 2020 - Schaller takes part in Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals weekend at I-80 Speedway
On Wednesday evening Ben Schaller was one of 44 Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series entries on hand at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the Prelude to the Silver Dollar Nationals. Following the sixth fastest time in qualifying, Schaller streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory, which positioned him on the pole for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. After jumping out to the lead for the first two circuits, Ben retired early on the third lap with his car dumping fluids on the track.

The following night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Dirt Track Bank Go 50, Ben edged his way into the main event with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. With $12,000 on the line, Schaller withdrew from the 50-lap affair on lap 27 to save equipment. (Todd Boyd photos)

For a pair of heat races on Friday evening, Schaller dropped one spot in his first heat to place sixth. Coming in fourth in the second round, Ben was 28th overall in passing points, sending him into the B-main on Saturday night for another shot at the Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals.

Locking in the Top 4, Ben fell short of a transfer position with a ninth place outing, but was granted a provisional into the $53,000-to-win main event. Rolling off 30th, Schaller slapped the turn four wall on lap 55, dropping him to the tail. After numerous visits into the infield hot pit, Ben Schaller rebounded to finish 20th.

July 18, 2020 - Ben Schaller lands Top 5 finish in Malvern Bank action at Shelby County
Saturday night saw Ben Schaller return to action at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) for the Malvern Bank West Series sanctioned contest. Marching forward five spots in his 8-lap heat to pick up the win, Ben locked into the third-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping one spot in the 25-lap affair, Schaller notched a fourth place finish behind Tad Pospisil, Nick Deal, and Jason O’Brien with Bill Leighton Jr. coming in fifth.

July 11, 2020 - Schaller scores runner-up finish in local show at I-80 Speedway
Ben Schaller returned to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Friday night piloting his Dave’s Home Improvement No. 98 Late Model. Drawing 22 cars, Ben jumped up three positions in his heat to pick up the win. Starting the feature in fifth, Schaller gained three spots to place second behind Josh Krug with Tad Pospisil, John Anderson, and Nick Deal rounding out the Top-5.

Returning to action on Sunday afternoon at Boone County Raceway (Albion, Neb.), Schaller was one of 36 Malvern Bank Series entries on hand for the Boone County Fair Race. Coming in third in his heat race, Ben locked into the third-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Falling one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Schaller dropped three spots to score a sixth place finish.

July 3, 2020 - Seventh place finish in NASCAR Weekly event at I-80
On Friday evening Ben Schaller was one of 18 Late Models on hand at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) NASCAR Weekly Racing series event. Improving three spots in his heat, Schaller scored an 8-lap heat race victory, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Passing one car in the 20-lap affair, Ben registered a seventh place finish.
