After losing the Malvern Bank Series opener to Mother Nature a week prior, Ben Schaller headed to Central Missouri Speedway (Warrensburg, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon competing in a field of 26 cars. Jumping up two spots in his heat race to place third, Schaller locked into the ninth-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. With contact with another competitor early in the 20-lap feature sending him into the infield tire, Ben sustained extensive damage to his left-front, forcing him to retire early from the main event. On Sunday afternoon Ben Schaller kicked off his 2020 season at Stuart Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) piloting his Fleetmark Solutions No. 98 Late Model entry as the restrictions for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic are slowly lifting.
