September 19, 2020 - Ben Schaller competes with Lucas Oil Late Models in I-80 Nationals
Thursday night saw Ben Schaller return to action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the I-80 Nationals, the event replacing the Knoxville Nationals due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Drawing 46 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Ben posted a ninth place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 3, Ben fell short with an eighth place outing.

On Saturday evening with preliminary results from Thursday and Friday positioning him ninth on the grid for his B-Main, Ben posted an eighth place outing. With the non-qualifier feature transferring only the winner into the $30,000-to-win finale, Ben Schaller posted a fifth place finish.

September 12, 2020 - 12th place finish in Midwest Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway
Ben Schaller was one of 29 Malvern Bank Series entries on hand at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Saturday night for the Casey’s Midwest Fall Brawl. September 6, 2020 - Ben Schaller secures NASCAR Weekly track championship at I-80 Speedway
Friday night found Ben Schaller in action at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the two-day Yankee Dirt Track Classic. Drawing a stout field of 50 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Malvern Bank and Hoker Trucking Series’, Schaller fell short of a transfer spot in his heat with a sixth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Streaking to a consolation victory, Ben locked into the 18th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Schaller passed 13 cars in the 35-lap affair to place fifth behind Justin Zeitner, Jason Rauen, Joel Callahan, and Charlie McKenna.

For the second round of the Yankee Dirt Track Classic on Saturday, Ben jumped up two spots in his heat race to register a third place finish. Starting the $10,000-to-win finale in third, Schaller was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 20.

On Sunday afternoon at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.), Schaller edged his way into the main event with a seventh place finish in his heat. Marching forward four spots in the 20-lap affair, Ben scored a third place finish behind Andrew Kosiski and Brian Kosiski with Josh Krug and Jesse Sobbing completing the Top-5 finishers.

With his third-place finish, Ben Schaller was crowned the NASCAR Weekly track champion.
