With preliminary results pinning him 20th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Ben gained one spot in the 35-lap affair to place 19th.

With Friday night’s event at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) rained out, Ben Schaller made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) for the Malvern Bank Series sanctioned event. Earning the 15th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Ben clawed forward one spot in the 25-lapper to finish 14th.
