Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Malvern Bank Series to close out the season, Ben Schaller was one of 33 Late Models entered at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, NE) on Friday evening for the $5,000-to-win opener. After timing in fifth fastest in his group, Schaller recorded a fourth-place finish in his heat. Locked into the seventh-starting position for the A-Main, Ben raced forward three spots in the 30-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. The following night, Ben contained Brian Kosiski’s charge in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Schaller improved position to finish 12th.

Ben finished in fifth in the final Malvern Bank Series point standings.
