Ben Schaller traveled to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Friday afternoon for the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series event. With a sixth-place finish in his heat lining him up 16th on the starting grid for the opening night feature, Ben passed eight cars in the 20-lapper to finish eighth.
For the Casey’s Midwest Fallbrawl on Saturday, Schaller followed up a sixth-to-second run in his heat with a runner-up finish in the feature. He followed Jake Neal across the line with Bill Leighton Jr., Corey Zeitner, and Justin Zeitner rounding out the Top-5.

With Friday’s opener falling to Mother Nature, Ben Schaller returned to 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) on Saturday evening for the 44th annual Yankee Dirt Track Classic. In a field of 43 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Malvern Bank Series and Hoker Trucking Series, Schaller came in third in his heat before picking up a consolation victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 17th, Ben was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on the seventh circuit with engines woes.
